What this site looks into
This site has one focus: looking into the things in life that feel mendoi (a hassle) or make you ask “wait, how does this actually work?”, and making them a little easier. AI, work, relationships, anime, travel and food look like separate topics, but every article starts from that one question.
The site name is “Mendoi-chan”. Mendoi is casual Japanese for “troublesome”; its meaning, origin and dialect background are explained with dictionary and research sources in a sourced explainer (in Japanese); an English version is at /en/mendoi/. The domain and the Latin-script name is “mendoi-apps”.
Operator
Operator: Mendoi-chan, an individual developer based in Japan. mendoi-apps is run by one person, not by a company.
Mendoi-chan is responsible for the articles, the ads and affiliate links on the site, and how personal information is handled. The site has been online since May 2026.
To protect personal privacy, the operator's legal name and home address are not published. Requests required by law, and identity checks by advertising or affiliate partners, are handled individually through the contact form.
