Description: The grainy Rumpelstiltskin dance looks like an old fantasy film. It was created with AI in 2026, then set to a Riff Raff track and turned into a reaction meme.

This is not a rediscovered movie scene. The dancing fairy-tale character was made with AI in 2026 to resemble a fantasy film from the 1980s.

Where did the clip start?

On August 27, the Instagram accounts Stroinaya, Neuroferma and Anna Glinskaya jointly posted a video of a tiny character dancing, turning straw into gold and becoming a prince after a kiss. By late September, versions pairing it with Riff Raff's “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz” had appeared. Early October brought captioned reactions and character-swapping edits on TikTok and X.

Why do people use it?

A September 29 TikTok compared it to an odd dream after taking cheap melatonin. On October 4, an X post used it for someone who cannot remember how many beers he drank when his wife asks. The character's boundless joy makes an awkward situation look like a celebration.

Some viewers even went looking for the supposed original movie. The funniest illusion is that a brand-new AI scene somehow feels like a forgotten childhood memory.
