Using a saved full Codex reset refreshes both the five-hour and weekly allowances and changes the next weekly reset date. You do not get another reset on the old date.

If your normal reset was Friday and you use a saved reset and resume Codex on Tuesday, the next weekly reset will be around the following Tuesday.

A banked reset can be held until used or expired. An automatic reset is applied directly. A purchased instant reset takes effect as soon as payment completes and cannot be saved for later.

Open Settings → Usage to check remaining allowance, reset times and any available reset options. Consider whether to use your remaining allowance before purchasing.

The button restores your allowance, but it also moves the date on your calendar. That's the catch.
