Checked October 13, 2026. No puzzle solutions or plot spoilers. You do not need to finish Oogie Boogie's six-week questline before November 4. You only need to start the first quest before that date.

A Reddit warning about the Halloween villain initially told fans to complete every quest in time. The original poster later corrected it: start, not finish. That's a relief for players returning to the Valley with a backlog of friendship quests.

Gameloft lists three entry requirements: Peaceful Meadow, Scrooge McDuck's Store and Chez Remy must be unlocked. Check the in-game mail, then investigate what is happening at Scrooge's Store. Comments about needing maximum friendship with Jack or Sally are speculation, not part of the official list of starting requirements.

The event began September 23, with another quest added each week. Week three arrived October 7, and the later installments are scheduled for October 14, 21 and 28. Start the first quest before November 4 and you can finish the remainder after the event at your own pace. Zero can become a permanent companion, while Oogie Boogie can become a permanent villager.

If you never start the first quest before the cutoff, the official guide says Oogie Boogie will return around Halloween 2027. That's a wait, not permanent removal. The guide doesn't give a precise cutoff hour or time zone, so don't gamble on November 4 itself.

Bottom line: start one quest now, finish the others later. Let the villain provide the jump scares—not your calendar.
