Full endgame spoilers. You sign up for a cute personality quiz at a fictional psychiatric hospital. Twenty-four questions later, it asks you to call whatever is beside you. Sorry, was this a quiz or a summoning appointment?
1. The quick route through the quiz
Kokoro no Yoin Shindan at Migiwa Hospital is a free Japanese browser horror experience dressed up as a 24-question personality test. It is fiction, not medical advice or a real diagnosis. Work through the choices, but pay close attention to a fleeting three-character hiragana word at Question 13. You will need it later.
2. Question 13: a clue you can blink and miss
A comment in a saved HTML snapshot refers to the Q13 “callword” disappearing after about 0.7 seconds, followed by a brief blank pause. That is astonishingly little time to notice, read, and remember nonsense syllables. It's the kind of memory test nobody warned you was happening.
3. Question 24: the answer that worked in one playthrough
Q24 asks you to call the thing beside you and provides a text box. In one documented playthrough, typing 「あちめ」 (achime) advanced the story; 「おちぬ」 did not. Enter the actual Japanese characters, not the romanization. We have not verified whether the same word appears for every player, so treat this as a successful example, not a universal password.
4. Why the hospital's “treatment” page matters
The site's fictional explanation of “mental echoes” says a response does not require an audible voice: reading silently or writing a word can count as answering a call. So the text field isn't just a quiz input. In the story's logic, you have actually called something. You would think the form might mention that before you hit Submit.
5. The unnerving follow-up and the little laugh
After the input comes a question about whether you have ever uttered that word. But if writing counts as a response, the trick question bites. The observed playthrough continued through an eerie, almost giggling horror effect before showing the cheerful Fuwari result. The screen acts normal again. The player, less so.
6. Four result pages, with direct links
These are the four publicly observed result types. The links let you read their descriptions; they do not establish which choices guarantee each ending.
- Kururi — adaptable on the outside, a private inner world inside.
- Tsutsumi — attentive to others and quick to notice how people feel.
- Hodoke — protects personal space and moves at their own pace.
- Fuwari — curious, imaginative and happily unpredictable.
7. Why the friendly final message feels wrong
Fuwari celebrates curiosity, independence and lightness. Then the result promises someone will always be by your side. The game just made you call the thing next to you. So who is offering comfort now? The personality result doubles as the final scare. That is an interpretation of the presentation, not a confirmed identity for the unseen presence.
8. What remains unverified
All 24 answer branches and any secret ending have not been conclusively mapped. If achime fails for you, look for the fleeting word at Q13 instead of brute-forcing the answer. A 24-question quiz quietly turned into a memory check and a creepy call-and-response ritual. Efficient hospital service, apparently.
