FAQ
Pokémon Champions simulator FAQ
Is this Pokémon Champions simulator free?
Yes. You can enter your six Pokémon and the opponent's six to check recommended picks, lead, switch option, and next action in the browser.
What is this tool for?
It is an unofficial battle support tool for checking team selection and compact next-action guidance in Pokémon Champions single battles.
Does this use AI?
No generative AI is used. In your browser, it scores the damage calculation, speed comparison and precomputed battle simulations.
Are Stat Points used in the calculation?
Yes. Stat Points (SP) are a real calculation input, not a note: up to 32 per stat and 66 in total. At level 50, 1 point raises the stat by 1.
How accurate is the damage calculation?
Verified: stats from level 50 and Stat Points, type matchups, stat stages, and per-hit damage (all 16 rolls) including weather, screens and the main items and abilities match Pokémon Showdown in 3,000 automated test cases, and the values shown for 12 on-screen matchups match the Showdown damage calculator (@smogon/calc). Approximated: multi-hit moves count as 3 hits (5 with Skill Link); critical hits (except always-crit moves) and end-of-turn damage are not part of the range; untested special moves and abilities are approximate. Not supported: double battles, Terastallization, Z-Moves and Dynamax. Results are decision aids, not guarantees of a win.
Is this for use during official competitions?
This is not meant for use during official competitions. It is a learning aid for beginners to understand team selection, switching, and losing lines during practice or review.
